About the speakers

Nathan Bassett, Port Adelaide Football Club

AFL superstar defender Nathan Bassett started his coaching career at SANFL team Norwood Football Club. Nathan introduced AFL concepts to the local league and quickly tasted triumph. The Redlegs played and lost the 2010 SANFL Grand Final, but Bassett returned Norwood to the big stage to take wins in 2012 and 2013. From there he was recruited to Essendon Football Club, where he was an assistant to Mark Thompson and later James Hird and Matthew Egan. He was contracted as an assistant coach at Port Adelaide in 2016.

Ken Saman, Personify Care

Ken Saman, CEO of Personify Care, is focused on making healthcare smarter and safer for patients beyond their hospital stay. With experience in developing business models in the health sector in Australia and the US, Ken founded Personify Care to help personalise care for patients, save time for clinicians and reduce costs for healthcare providers.

Ken was previously Vice-President of Operations at YourAmigo Ltd for seven years – a high-growth tech company which became a technology leader in the Search Marketing space with services deployed in over 30 different countries for many of the world’s top 100 e-commerce companies.

Marina Pullin, MCBI

Marina Pullin is the Managing Director of MCBI and the local inventor of award-winning Jungal™ – a private platform to match great people with great opportunities. MCBI is an Adelaide-based company operating since 2005 which provides progressive solutions to clients who wish to be adventurous. Working with some of the largest organisations in Australia, MCBI helps leaders to take steps towards commercial innovation and trying new ways to operate. Throughout her career, Marina has held a number of senior roles and run a variety of complex projects across finance, government, defence and health. She’s worked around the world and has a strong commitment to embracing the commercial and social value of diversity in the workplace.
